Etekcity Digital Voice Recorder & MP3 Player with Built-in Magnetic Lapel Clip and 3.5 mm Audio Jack (8 GB, Black)

I received this recorder in exchange for my unbiased and hones review.

BUILD: The first thing I said when I received this recorder was that ….this thing is super duper small, obviously in the pictures it looked a whole lot bigger, but no biggie. What I love about this thing is that it is very compact and has a clip that I could clip to my shirt or pants pocket and I love this. It has a play/pause button, on/off switch, save/record switch, mode selection used for switching between music and recording and a headphone jack to listen to the recording or listen to music and also this is an mp3 player as well which is a double plus. It has 8gb of storage. This also comes with a usb charging/sync cable as well.

Sound: I tested out the recording part,  and the audio was decent except for the background noise….well I had a fan and air conditioner running in the background but this was nothing a little audacity could not help. I just took out the background noise and it sounded fine. But with this I heard other sounds like movement, so I did another recording and did not move at all and it turned out to be just movement sound. I added a couple of songs to it to test out mp3 mode and the songs played great and it gets pretty loud, but I do not see myself using the mp3 player part of it as I have my phone and ipod to listen to music but this is still a great feature as well. Oh and to switch from mp3 mode to recording mode, the buttom with the m on it should be pressed once. Also with pressing the volume up and down key once you switch from previous to next songs.

Overall, this is a great device, I would definitely recommend this!
