My Favorite Radio Streaming Apps

As most of you may not know, listening to music is my favorite hobby, music is medicine to the soul for me, when I'm feeling down. I love all types of music and recently, a few years ago I just got into dubstep, if you've ever heard dubstep or maybe hearing for the first time, it probably would sound like a  bunch of over-energized robots fighting, but they just don't have dubstep, there is different types of dubstep, melodic, chillstep, chillwave, edm, and my favorite liquid dubstep....I think I am getting off topic a little, but anyway, some people want radio stations, that go with there very mood, or want to be able to type in a keyword, and pop up a playlist related to what you typed in or based on the mood you input. Today I have a possible list of radio stations that do that and some of the regular ones. All of these have apps as well.

8Tracks - http://8tracks.com/ is by far my favorite Radio streaming Site and app, because it lets pick from all these different types of tags, moods, and genres of music, to come with that perfect playlist, and it also lets you create playlists as well.

Songza - http://songza.com/ Songza is another favorite of mind as well , except that it does not let type in any mood or tag, they already pretty much have these moods ready for you. I also forgot, it has pre - loaded playlists based on an activity you are doing, for example they have a playlist for when you are barbequing.

Stereomood - https://www.stereomood.com/ - Stereomood is okay, but they don't have tags like 8Tracks or activity based playlists like Songza, they have pre - loaded genres and moods.

SoundCloud - http://soundcloud.com/ I do not know if you would call SoundCloud a radio streaming site, it is more for djs and artists who want to share there music they have created, but it does have new music of today, and some of the artist on there really display some good songs, I mostly visit SoundCloud through 8Tracks because some of the 8Tracks users create playlist with songs that link to soundcloud for you to download. Speaking of download, you can also download songs off of Soundcloud if the artists/user allow it. I also create a video and blog post about how to download songs from soundcloud if the artist/user does not display a download button for a track you want to download. Here are the links below.

Below are the regular radio stations, I am pretty sure you have heard of these, probably never use them.

Etekcity Digital Voice Recorder & MP3 Player with Built-in Magnetic Lapel Clip and 3.5 mm Audio Jack (8 GB, Black)

I received this recorder in exchange for my unbiased and hones review. BUILD: The first thing I said when I received this recorder was that ….this thing is super duper small, obviously in the pictures it looked a whole lot bigger, but no biggie. What I love about this thing is that it is very compact and has a clip that I could clip to my shirt or pants pocket and I love this. It has a play/pause button, on/off switch, save/record switch, mode selection used for switching between music and recording and a headphone jack to listen to the recording or listen to music and also this is an mp3 player as well which is a double plus. It has 8gb of storage. This also comes with a usb charging/sync cable as well. Sound: I tested out the recording part,  and the audio was decent except for the background noise….well I had a fan and air conditioner running in the background but this was nothing a little audacity could not help. I just took out the background noise and it sounded fine.

Vivitar Wireless Bluetooth Speaker with Speakerphone (Red)

I was out at Walmart just browsing and , I happened to come upon this Vivitar wireless Bluetooth speaker and all for the very cheap price of 8 bucks. I was thinking to myself it is probably just cheap no sounding piece of crap speaker that no one is buying and put it on clearance to get rid of it. The kind clearances I like. So, being a technology enthusiast and because it was just 8 bucks I decided to try it out. I didn’t have much to lose. Pros: Price: The price of this speaker was very cheap, and I like cheap sometimes. Build: I love the color of the speaker, I do love that they have a variety  colors , but I wanted something other than the general colors black or white.  It is very light weight, almost close to feather in your hand. It does have these 4 rubber pads at the bottom to prevent it from moving. Sound: The sound is decent for some basic music listening not to good and not to bad either. Bluetooth: I love that it is really easy to connect it to Blue
