EDM Music...is it even Music?

I love music, A LOT of music actually, I love all different types including R&B, Pop, Rock, Blues, and I even like a lot of old music, like 60's stuff. But up until a few years ago, I got into edm, if you do not what edm stands for, it is Electronic Dance Music or Dance. It originated in the late 1960's died down until the late 1980's, which was popular in the UK. Some of it's genres consist of Dubstep, Electro, Electronic, drum & bass, progressive, hardcore, house, techno, and trance. Today, it is more popular than ever, why? I do not think anyone really knows. Some edm artist, include, Tiesto, Afrojack, David Guetta, Flax Pavillion, Daft Punk, Swedish House Mafia, and Calvin Harris. If you want to hear some of this type of music, check out or follow me on Sound cloud: https://soundcloud.com/shamori-evans, also check out +EDM on Google plus, and there site : http://edm.com, They also have multiple soundcloud pages, for each genre of edm.
